Writing on the Irish agency software market

One piece so far, on the tools Irish agencies actually run on. Written from what each vendor publishes about itself rather than from opinion, and dated so you can tell how current it is.

Why there is one piece here

There is no editorial calendar behind this page and nothing goes up to fill a slot. The single article exists because “the best estate agency software in Ireland” is a question Irish agencies actually type, and answering it honestly takes a page rather than a paragraph. A second piece will appear when there is a second subject worth the same amount of work, and this paragraph will change when it does.

How it is written

It is a vendor-written comparison and says so before it reaches a verdict. EstatePilot makes one of the products in it, the criteria the list is judged on are ours, and the article states plainly that another agency would weight them differently. Those criteria are published before the ranking rather than after it, so the argument can be argued with on its own terms: whether live auctions run inside the product under your own brand; whether a buyer can submit a private-treaty offer on the agency’s own website or the agent types it in afterwards; whether proof of identity, address and funds is collected as part of bidding or filed separately later; whether the CRM, the website and the bidding are one thing you open in a browser or an assembly with software to install; and whether the product is designed around the PSRA and the Criminal Justice (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) Act 2010 or serves several markets from one codebase.

Every claim about another vendor comes from that vendor’s own public material and is linked to it. Prices are described rather than copied across, because a rate card is theirs to change and a stale number sitting here would read as theirs. The article carries the date it was last checked, and so does its entry in the index above.

Where else to read

For a head-to-head rather than the field, the three comparisons go product by product against Acquaint CRM, Property CRM and Offr. If the question underneath is regulatory rather than commercial — what a PSRA inspection expects an agency to produce, when customer due diligence is actually due — the guides cover it at length with the statute cited, and Compliance is the shorter version of the same ground.
