Switching to EstatePilot

Moving from Acquaint, Property CRM, Offr or another system starts with your existing records — not an empty CRM. The reason firms stay on a system they have outgrown is rarely the software itself: it is the years of listings, clients and case history sitting inside it, and the work of moving that safely. That is the part we take on.

Migration is part of onboarding rather than a paid extra. Your team checks what landed against your own records before anything goes live, and both systems can run in parallel until you are satisfied — there is no cut-over weekend.

Talk through your migration30 minutes, on your own data.

How the move runs

Four steps, and you hold the decision at the end of each one.

  1. 01

    Agree the scope

Identify the listings, clients and history that need to move from the system you use today.

  2. 02

    Import the records

EstatePilot brings the agreed data across as part of onboarding, rather than asking your team to retype it.

  3. 03

    Check what landed

Your team reviews the imported book of business and raises anything that needs correcting.

  4. 04

    Switch when ready

Your team signs off the imported records, then chooses when to start working from EstatePilot.

What comes across

  • Listings
  • Vendors and applicants
  • Clients and their case history
  • Tenancies
  • Match history
  • Your book of business

Where you run a client account, its balances are signed off against your own books before go-live. The scope is agreed with you first — which records move is a decision you make at step one, not something you discover afterwards.

We do not publish a migration timeline. How long a move takes depends on what is in the system you are leaving, and the demo is where we walk through your own data and tell you.

Moving off a particular system

Each comparison sets out what that product does, where it is stronger than EstatePilot, and what switching off it involves. Every claim about a competitor comes from its own public website and carries the date it was last checked.

On another system? The four steps above are the same either way. See all comparisons, or read the four products judged side by side.

Questions firms ask before they move

Is migrating our data a paid extra?
No. Bringing your records across is part of EstatePilot onboarding rather than a separate project you have to plan and pay for. Importing your existing listings and client records is included — you are not retyping your book of business.
What comes across from our current system?
Listings, vendors, applicants, clients, tenancies and match or case history — the book of business, not a blank CRM. Where you run a client account, its balances are signed off against your own books before go-live.
Do we have to switch everything over on one day?
No. Both systems can run in parallel until you are ready: your team reviews what has come across, raises anything that needs correcting, signs the imported records off against your own records, and then chooses when to start working from EstatePilot. There is no cut-over weekend.
Can we keep the website we already have?
Yes. Add the EstatePilot Widget to your current website for listings, enquiries, viewing requests and private-treaty offers, or move to a hosted EstatePilot site on your own domain when you are ready. Switching the CRM does not oblige you to switch the website at the same time.
Do our listings keep publishing to Daft.ie and MyHome.ie?
Yes. Listings publish to both through the portal integrations. Enquiries that return by email can be linked to the listing and continued through your connected agency inbox.
